Baggage & check-in tips
- Checked baggage is often extra. flydubai sells fares with and without checked bags. The cheapest fare may include only a cabin bag, so tell us how much luggage you have and we will price the right fare.
- Cabin bag: one small bag plus a personal item is typical. Keep medicines, documents and valuables in your cabin bag.
- Check-in: reach the airport at least 3 hours before an international flight and about 1 hour 30 minutes before a domestic flight. Online check-in, when available, usually opens 24 to 48 hours before departure.
- Documents: passport valid for at least 6 months, visa or residence permit for your destination, and any transit visa your route needs.
- Power banks and lithium batteries must go in the cabin bag, never in checked baggage.
Airline rules, baggage allowances and schedules change from time to time and depend on your fare. Please confirm the details with us before you book, we check them on your ticket.
